The Metaverse and Me
2022-2023
The Metaverse and Me is an AR application designed for use alongside a bespoke art collection created by local artist Deepa Mann Kler. Funded by the National Lottery and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland. The project took original paintings and created explosive and moving AR stories, each giving their own unique perspective with new visuals and sound.
The Metaverse and Me first exhibited in Belfast's Ormeau Baths, which marks the venue's first exhibition in over 17 years. The Metaverse & Me has been nominated by Stereopsia EUROPE for a European XR Award and will be showcased at Stereopsia EUROPE in October 2023 in Brussels.
