"A young man tries to escape an underground city. As he rides the elevator, he encounters a series of sinister characters who seem reluctant to let him leave. Will the journey lead to liberation or is he fleeing to his death?"
The film was filmed entirely on an LED Volume stage, with Aura providing Virtual Production services, including Pre-Vis, Tech-Vis, Virtual Art Department, and stage operation.
Tech-Vis was utilized to aid in the set construction, ensuring the set would fit and be functional within the volume's limits before it was purchased and built.
As part of the Virtual Art Department, Aura created a two-by-two-kilometer underground cityscape along with a subterranean tunnel system. These two environments seamlessly integrated in Unreal Engine, allowing the elevator to move through the world in real-time.
Pre-Vis was employed to rehearse each elevator movement for cast blocking and camera movements.
